On Friday 9^th December the annual 3^rd year retreat took place in the school library.  The day was facilitated by Declan and Anne- Marie Browne of MIR Retreat Centre.   The 3^rd year retreat is a day for pupils to step back from the demands and pressures of an exam year to focus on themselves.  There was great energy coming from the library all day as pupils embraced all activities wholeheartedly. Activities during the day ranged from icebreakers to meditation and prayer to self esteem building exercises.  Evaluations were overwhelmingly positive from pupils after the retreat.
